Foundation need · the gauge
red = full need (100%) · green = partly need (below 100%) · the CHF 10'000/month inside the gauge is the functioning variable, set at launch, adjustable · today: ×100 × full need 100% = effective ×100 · floor ×30
Effective multiplier = multiplier × Foundation need. The need stays at full need (100%) as long as the outstanding requirement is not covered: the initial requirement starts at CHF 100'000, so the need stays at full for a long time, and the pace of donations is what brings it down. Once the requirement is covered, the Foundation need descends fast below 100% (×90, ×80 even for money nominally at ×100) as the foundation provision fills. At 3 months of provision the Foundation need is 30%: floor ×30. The ×30 floor comes from the bonding curve, which starts at ×100, ends at ×30 and distributes 50 million rewards according to a mathematical formula (subject to validation). Half of incoming money goes to the monthly functioning costs, half to the initial requirement.
Proposed formula, to be validated: Foundation need = 100% - 70% × (months of provision covered ÷ 3), effective multiplier = bonding curve multiplier × Foundation need. The descent only starts once the outstanding requirement is covered: the initial requirement starts at CHF 100'000 and grows by CHF 10'000 each month, so the need stays at full for a long time. The effective multiplier never goes below ×30. The provision is the last figure of the system: it drives the Foundation need.

The need is at full need (100%): your donation today gets the full ×100 multiplier of the bonding curve. The initial requirement starts at CHF 100'000, so the need stays at full for a long time; the pace of donations is what brings it down. Later, once the requirement is covered and the provision builds, the Foundation need descends (partly need) and the effective multiplier follows (see the examples below). When you donate you see everything at once: multiplier, Foundation need, effective multiplier, potential reward and the margin allocated to the foundation provision (to be confirmed). The reward is a potential ceiling, paid only from real subscription income, with no guarantee.

Sample donation of CHF 1'000 at ×100: your potential reward CHF 100'000 appears, then the question: "What percentage do you want to give to the foundation?" Free choice from 0% to 100% (0% is allowed).
