WikiDeal Funding Dashboard 路 Concept

How Support, the Foundation need and Cash Rewards work together 路 public summary

1. Purpose

One dashboard shows the two sides of financial support to WikiDeal:

The dashboard makes the whole mechanism transparent and verifiable (wiki culture and Ethereum culture) and pleasantly engaging: watching subscriptions arrive and your reward grow.

2. Three key words

multiplierfrom the bonding curve
needthe Foundation need, a percentage
rewardyour potential Cash Reward
Effective multiplier = bonding curve multiplier 脳 Foundation need.
A sample donation of CHF 1'000 at 脳100 with a Foundation need of 100% gives a potential Cash Reward of CHF 100'000.

3. The bonding curve

The bonding curve is a fixed algorithm: it starts at 脳100, ends at 脳30 and distributes 50 million rewards according to a mathematical formula (sample description, subject to validation). Earlier donations get a higher multiplier. The 脳30 floor comes from this curve: the effective multiplier never goes below 脳30.

4. The Foundation need

The multiplier alone is not enough: it is balanced by the Foundation need, a percentage, fully automatic, with needs defined by the steering committee.

Foundation needEffective multiplier (nominal 脳100)
Foundation need: 100% (early phase)脳100
Foundation need: 80%脳80
Foundation need: 60%脳60
Foundation need: 30%脳30 (floor)

Proposed formula, to be validated: Foundation need = 100% - 70% 脳 (months of provision covered 梅 3). The provision is the last figure of the system: it drives the Foundation need.

5. The foundation provision

Half of the incoming money goes to functioning costs, half to the reimbursement of costs already incurred. The foundation provision (target: 3 months of functioning cost) funds maintenance and development. It is not a Cash Reward. The foundation margin, the gap between what the bonding curve promises and the reward actually attributed when the Foundation need is below 100%, feeds this provision.

6. When you donate

  1. Your potential Cash Reward appears (sample: CHF 1'000 at 脳100 shows CHF 100'000).
  2. Then the question: "What percentage do you want to give to the foundation?" Free choice from 0% to 100% (0% is allowed).
  3. Two presets: "cashback" (脳1: you get back just the amount you donated, the rest goes to the foundation) and "full donation" (100% to the foundation).

Sample free choice: 25% to the foundation on a CHF 100'000 reward = CHF 25'000 to the foundation, CHF 75'000 kept as potential Cash Reward.

7. Cash Rewards

8. Public transparency

9. Payment flow

  1. Credit card via Stripe: donation or subscription paid by credit card.
  2. Foundation account, holding period: funds arrive on the Ynternet.org Foundation account with a holding period (illustrative: 7 days).
  3. Foundation confirms: the Ynternet.org Foundation confirms the payment and activates the promised Cash Reward. Never automatic on reception.
  4. Transferable to your bank account: the activated reward becomes progressively transferable, funded by real subscription income.
