Internal market: Rewards over the counter

Reward holders who want cash now can offer part of their rewards to other people. Buyer and seller agree on the price directly, over the counter. The Ynternet.org Foundation then validates and executes the reward transfer; it is not a party to the price.

Over the counter, at your own risk. Prices are agreed freely between the two parties. The Ynternet.org Foundation does not set, suggest or guarantee any price, and takes no commission on the deal (sample rule, to be confirmed). It only checks that the seller really holds the rewards and executes the transfer once both parties confirm. A reward remains a potential ceiling, paid only from real subscription income, with no guarantee.

Offers are fully anonymized: an anonymous holder id, the amount of rewards offered, the asking price and the date. Names never appear. The asking price is a starting point; the final price is whatever the two parties agree on.
💬 Discuss offers on the wiki At the start, discussion happens on the MediaWiki talk page (discussion page, to be confirmed).

How a deal works

Post an offerA holder offers an amount of rewards with an asking price. The offer is anonymized on this page.
Agree over the counterBuyer and seller discuss (on the wiki talk page at the start) and agree on a price, directly between them.
Foundation validatesBoth parties confirm the deal. The Ynternet.org Foundation checks the balances and validates the transfer on the validation interface.
Rewards move, log updatedThe rewards move to the buyer's dashboard, the seller receives the agreed cash. The action is logged, anonymized, public.
Why this market exists: the cash transfer (transferable to your bank account) grows slowly with subscription income. Holders who prefer cash now can sell part of their potential rewards at a discount to people who prefer to wait. The foundation only guarantees the transfer mechanics, never the price and never the future value.
