1. Purpose
One dashboard shows the two sides of financial support to WikiDeal:
- Token purchases (donor view): how much I gave, how much I can still give, and what a new purchase could bring me according to the WikiDeal token algorithm.
- WikiDeal tokens: how much I received, and the cash transfer amount "transferable to your bank account" (direct bank transfer), which starts very low and grows as subscriptions come in.
The dashboard makes the whole mechanism transparent and verifiable (wiki culture and Ethereum culture) and pleasantly engaging: watching subscriptions arrive and your WikiDeal token grow.
2. Three key words
A sample purchase of CHF 1'000 at ×100 with a Foundation need of 100% gives a potential WikiDeal token of CHF 100'000 NOT GUARANTEED.
3. The WikiDeal token algorithm
The WikiDeal token algorithm is a fixed algorithm: it starts at ×100, ends at ×30 and distributes 50 million WikiDeal tokens according to a mathematical formula (sample description, subject to validation). Earlier subscriptions get a higher multiplier. The ×30 floor comes from this curve: the effective multiplier never goes below ×30.
4. The Foundation need
The multiplier alone is not enough: it is balanced by the Foundation need, a percentage, fully automatic, with needs defined by the steering committee.
The dashboard shows the Foundation need as a gauge: red at full need (100%), green at partly need (below 100%). Inside the gauge sits the key figure of the system: the functioning variable, CHF 10'000/month, set at launch and adjustable.
- Full need (100%) means the outstanding requirement is not covered: the multiplier is full.
- Below 100% the need is called partly need.
- Once the outstanding requirement is covered, the Foundation need descends below 100% as the foundation provision fills.
- When the provision reaches 3 months of functioning cost, the Foundation need is 30%: the multiplier is at the ×30 floor.
Outstanding requirement = CHF 100'000 + CHF 10'000 × (months - 1) - cumulative subscriptions (never shown below CHF 0). The need stays at full need, multiplier ×100, as long as this amount is not covered; the pace of subscriptions is what brings it down.
| Foundation need | Effective multiplier (nominal ×100) |
|---|---|
| full need: 100% (month 1) | ×100 |
| partly need: 80% | ×80 |
| partly need: 60% | ×60 |
| partly need: 30% | ×30 (floor) |
Proposed formula for the descent, to be validated: Foundation need = 100% - 70% × (months of provision covered ÷ 3). The descent only starts once the outstanding requirement is covered. The provision is the last figure of the system: it drives the Foundation need.
5. The foundation provision
Half of the incoming money goes to the monthly functioning costs, half to the initial requirement. The foundation provision (target: 3 months of functioning cost) funds maintenance and development. It is not a WikiDeal token. The foundation margin, the gap between what the WikiDeal token algorithm promises and the WikiDeal token actually attributed when the Foundation need is below 100% (partly need), feeds this provision.
6. When you subscribe
- Your potential WikiDeal token appears (sample: CHF 1'000 at ×100 shows CHF 100'000).
- Then the question: "What percentage do you want to give to the foundation?" Free choice from 0% to 100% (0% is allowed).
- Four preset profiles: Donator, Cashback, Times 2, and Entrepreneur.
Sample free choice: 25% to the foundation on a CHF 100'000 WikiDeal token = CHF 25'000 to the foundation, CHF 75'000 kept as potential WikiDeal token.
7. WikiDeal tokens
- The WikiDeal token is a potential ceiling NOT GUARANTEED, paid only from real subscription income, with no guarantee.
- Each paid subscription (CHF 10/year or EUR 1/month) sends a small part to WikiDeal token holders, distributed pro-rata among WikiDeal token holders (proposed, to be validated).
- Transferable to third parties: WikiDeal utility tokens can be transferred to a third party, who then uses them to buy services on the platform (same activation rules apply). See the activation panel below.
- The cash transfer amount "transferable to your bank account" guaranteed starts very low and grows with every subscription paid. How to cash →
7bis. Tokens activables vs tokens activés (important)
Token ACTIVABLE (reçu via la souscription Love Money, avec le multiplicateur Bonding Curve ×100 → ×30). Au début, il est utilisable uniquement pour :
- payer son abonnement à la plateforme ;
Received through a Love Money start-up token purchase (Bonding Curve multiplier ×100 → ×30). From day one they can pay only for: (a) your WikiDeal platform subscription, and (b) advisory / incubation services provided by the volunteer core team. They can NOT pay for third-party services.
A token becomes activated only once it is covered by subscription revenue actually collected (order of magnitude: ≈ CHF 50 million of subscriptions to turn the activatable pool into activated tokens). Only activated tokens can pay for services delivered by third parties — e.g. transport, where 80–90% of the price goes to the provider (driver).
⚠️ Avoid the misunderstanding: the ×100 multiplier does not mean you can immediately pay for transport or any other third-party service. Your wallet must first be « filled » by real subscription income: activatable → activated. The dashboard always shows your « usable now » share (platform subscription + volunteer-team advisory/incubation) separately from your « activatable later » share.
🔁 Transferable: WikiDeal utility tokens are transferable to third parties — you can transfer tokens to someone else, who then uses them to buy services on the platform (the same activation rules apply to the new holder).
8. Public transparency
- Total raised and number of donors (funding round of CHF 1'000'000, progress bar).
- Last purchase: amount and time only, never the identity.
- Foundation margin (percentage shown big, absolute value small) and foundation provision.
- Model: WikiDeal tokens funded by WikiDeal subscriptions (CHF 1/month or CHF 10/year) · 25% to donators, 25% to early supporters (one single type of WikiDeal token).
9. Payment flow
- Credit card via Stripe: purchase or subscription paid by credit card.
- Netizen3 account, holding period: funds arrive on the Netizen3 account with a holding period (illustrative: 7 days).
- Netizen3 confirms: Netizen3 confirms the payment and grants the promised WikiDeal token — it becomes activatable (usable only for the platform subscription and volunteer-team advisory/incubation) NOT GUARANTEED. Never automatic on reception.
- Activation & transfer: the WikiDeal token becomes progressively activated — covered by real subscription income — and only then usable for third-party services or bank transfer.
